Waraqah bin Nawfal رضي الله عنه said to the Messenger صلى الله عليه وسلم , as narrated by A’ishah رضي الله عنها: “If your that day [when he would be expelled or faced with his people] reaches, I would support you strongly

He with his old age, blindness, weakness, was ready to help the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم , and was hoping to be strong, so he can help.

From the Sa’hā bah were those who went to Jihād by reading the verse “Go to[ Jihād] while light and heavy,”  while they were very old like Abū Talhah Al Ansārī. And while they were carried in boxes [or its like on which one is carried] , and the body is wider than the box, like Al Miqdād bin Al Aswad, and Sa’īd bin Al Musayyab رحمه الله went while his one eye was blind, just to increase the number and protect the wealth [and now we are today amongst the Kuffār, increasing their number and forced to pay them]

About resting:

And Dhul Nūn was asked about the path of the Muslim to become from the chosen ones of Allāh “when the rest is taken and the strength is spent in obedience

As Shāfi’ī رحمه الله said “seeking rest in the world is not for the people of examples, as one of them would be always tired in all the times

Umar رضي الله عنه said “Seeking rest for the men is neglectfulness

Imām Ahmed رحمه الله said “O son I have given exhaust from myself
