Ilā Ummī Al-Ghāliyah
.

Written by one of the Mujāhidīn in the Arabian Peninsula,

The Brother, Usāmah Al-Khālidī (may Allāh preserve him)

Ah! My mother, weep not for your son

For to the Divine Promise and Gardens, I have gone,

To the One Who can pardon my sins

And that which these two hands have transgressed in,

And I have left the amusements of the Lowly World

For a people who find in it their aspirations and goals,

And for the Pleasure of my Lord, I have given my soul

When He called me, I answered the Call,

Cry not, O Mother, for a son

Who went forth towards the sharp spears,

Seeking death in honour and pride

Refusing to live in humiliation,

I have left my blood, Precious Mother, behind me

Showing the path to the Gardens,

And here are my scattered limbs, narrating

To those who yearn, that this is the dowry (Mahr) for the Beautiful Maidens,

But the Dīn of Allāh, I testify, is more precious

To me than this life, in which all are bound to perish,

Precious Mother, I am wearing a crown

And dwelling in Castles, amongst the Choirs,

With a Virgin who hums to me melodies

Giving me drink from the tips of her fingers,

Because I fought, I have been embraced by her breasts

And her heart which is full of affection,

And verily I hope for a Day

When for you I can intercede,

So patience, in the Path of Allāh, patience

Because O Precious Mother, the Lowly World is a few seconds.

this is a must read! a beloved sister shared it today.

Assalamu alaikum wr wb

SubhanAllah alot do we hear about the karamat of Allah to the mujahideen on the battle fields. But little do we hear of the karamat of Allah to the family of the mujahideen or to the muhajireen women that left there homes and comforts to go forth seeking the pleasure of Allah and giving forth what they could for the sake of Allah and to serve the ummah as much as they could

Brothers and sisters it is very easy to say hijrah …ra ra ra jihad ra ra ra
But when it comes to the 3amal (actions) very little do we act.

And many thoughts run through our minds and many worries
And those worries are legitimate worries especially for the men and for the single mothers that are responsible for their families

But we must remeber that Allah is the razzaq and He the most high said:
wa man yatawakala ala Allah yaj’al lahu makhraja wa yarzaqahu min haythu la yahtasibAnd who ever trusts in Allah Allah makes a way out for them and provides for them from where they do not expect

This must be a foundation for your hijrah and jihad….. Shiekh Abu qutadah(may Allah release him) was onces asked by a sister: If a man has a family and children is it still wajeb upon him to go forward?? knowing that he is the source of income to his family???

shiekh Abu qutadah (may Allah release him) replied in the most wise way and said: Sister if a soldier of one of these western countries die in battle or is injured in battle does not the governmet of that country continue to pay him or his family a pension???

the sister replied :yes

he said: then how is it then my dear sister a soldier of Allah goes forth for His sake and Allah will not continue to look after and provide for his family that that soldier left behind and placed them in Allah’s care???

May Allah release this noble shiekh ameen………

Allahu akbar !!!!! subhanAllah where is our belief in Allah’s asma was sifaat??? That He is Al hafeth-Al razaaq-Al-mu3een……….

May Allah grant us thabat and may He make our tawakul only upon HIM and HIM alone….ameen

This is a story of tawakul that my family and I experienced in the lands of ezza.

This occurred in the first Afghanistan jihad .

My mother(hafithaha Allah) took us to pakistan in 1990 and we stayed in a place called pabi, it was at that time known as the village of muhajiroon as many of the families of the mujahideen stayed there
it was a three streets made of poor mud houses on dirt roads…..
and situated on each end of the streets was a tent with armed afghan gaurds….

My mother(hafithaha Allah) at that time worked in the muhajireen hospital.

But as time went on and the political situation changed in Pakistan and the taghiyah banazeer buto(may Allah curse her) went into power,
So alot of the brothers were being arrested or deported to their countries

So the mujahideen and their families were facing a hard time as the kafalah(financial support) From the richer arab countries had stopped

So my mother(H.A) at that point was working in the hospital with no pay as they could not afford to pay her anymore

SubhanAllah it came to the day that we had spent our last rupia on bread and we had nothing. my mother had used the last grain of lentels in the house and we had no more carasene (not sure how to spell it) but the fuel that is used in stoves in those third world countries,

SubhanAllah i remeber this day very clearly… it was summer and 50 dagrees heat the ground was extremely dry and if anyone walked on it. it would cause clouds of dust. We had just prayed thuhr, when my mum called us and sat us down And continued to explain to us the ayah i stated above and how we made hijrah and Allah will not leave us but at the same time we must face hardships as the sahbah did. I could clearly see how my mother was holding back her tears as she continued to tell us how we spent our last rupia and that she did not know how and when our next meal would be

So she told us to make dua and she held us all…subhanAlla my siblings were too young to understand but i was old enough and i began to cry..
When subhanAllah the door knocked …We were a bit shocked because no one left their houses at thuhr time it was just too hot

So my brother and I ran to the door and opened the door

We saw this big brother dressed in black and was wearing a black turben behind him was a brand new shiny pick up .

He smiled to me and my brother and asked: Is this the house of UM……

We replied: yes it is….

He said: Can you give her this…..and he handed my brother a white envelope

we ran inside and gave it to my mother, when she opened it she found enough money to last us 5 months Allahu akbar

she said who was that man?

we replied we dont know, as we never seen him before he wasnt the father of any of our friends and everyone knew eachother and he wasnt from any of the un married mujahideen we had seen in pabi

my mother told us to quickly run out and ask who he was and what was his name? and how did he know of us?

my brother ran out to find he had disapeared and we had only been gone for less than a minute!!!

There was no sighn of a car and we did not hear the sound of a car drive off neither was there the massive dust cloud the cars left behind when driving through the dirt road

We were shocked and amazed…SubhanAlla where could he have gone???

we ran up the road to both of the guards and asked them

where did that big new pick up go??

they replied:what pick up no pick up entered the street…

Allahu akbar at that point we were so confused and we returned to our mother and told her…

subhanAllah till this day i believe that Allahu alam, Allah sent that man and if i close my eyes i can still see his face and exactly what he wore and the car subhanAllah and i can remember thinking mashaAllah what a big new beautiful car…

Allah makes ways and provides from where one does not expect truly we experianced the truth of this ayah

and ALlah does not go against His divine promise..

And this story has been a leaning stone for me in my trials and I hope it can be of comfort for anyone that is facing a hard time in taking that first step to make hijrah and leave behind his stable income ……

may Allah make easy the affairs of the mumin that want to do hijrah fi sabeelillah

wassalamu alaikum wr wb

Who amongst us,

is like the Poised Arrow

the last arrow taken from the quiver

And placed upon the Bow of Struggle and Perseverance

the hands on the Bow have ceased to shake

Fear of the Enemy

Extinguished by the Fragrance of the Maidens

So, set your eyes straight

and fixed upon the horizon

Men have left their homes

And women have become widows

Weddings have been replaced with burials

And celebratory cheers are followed by the hail of bullets

Happy faces drowned out by tears

And the most sacred of sacred

Have been defiled and violated

O Allah, to you we turn

And if you forsake us today

Will the Taghout replace the Qiblah

With the shadow of his Throne

Keep our feet firm and our resolve strong

Today, the Mujaahid of the East

Has set his Arrow

To target the Pharaohs of the West

While the whispers of the Doubtful

Are like the wind

Which attempts to hamper the strike

They say :

Look, all you have is this broken arrow

How can you overcome the fortresses and the citadels

By Allah, what if Dawud hadn’t slung that simple stone

And if Ibraheem hadn’t struck that first idol

And if Usamah hadn’t shoved the Romans’ nose in the dirt

By Allah, if we listened to the Doubtful

Who are many, throughout our History

Had we listened

What would have stopped them

From taking us all as obedient and powerless slaves

O Heroes of Islaam

And the Vanquishers of Falsehood

Keep straight your elbows

And pull back in the Name of Allah

And release the Waves of Justice and answer the call

The call from the Echoes of the Oppressed

Praised is the One

Who places his soul upon this Arrow

Which enters the Pits of Brimstone

And the Valleys of crushed bones

And the Rivers of rushing blood and burnt flesh

The One who flies toward those in need

And fears not the Blame of the Blame-worthy

The Poised Arrow

a beautiful sister shared this today. subhanAllah!!

Assalamu alaikum sisters ……

i wanted to share a story of a shaheed that is not known to many but as Umar r.a said : Umar does not know them but Umar’s Lord knows them….

this story happened in the first Afghanistan jihad at the time of fateh Kabul ( the opening of Kabul)

This is also a story of a young couple that had true love that a married couple should have, the love that Allah will be most pleased with, because it was love for His sake. And as much as they both loved each other they both loved Allah more, and would always put the the desire of continually being together for the chance to serve Allah s.w.t

The brothers name was Zaid at-Tayyaar from Yemen, meaning Zaid (the flyer)

The brother was given this name by the other mujahideen. Because no matter where Zaid was and what he was doing if he heard that a battle had broken out between the brothers and the enemies of Allah he would drop what he was doing and fly to the battle ground seeking the victory of the muslims and hoping to attain shahadah it it’s process..

His wife said: suhbanAllah every time my husband leaves the front door i have to farewell him as if it’s his last time because even if i ask him to buy me a kilo of onions or tomatoes it could be the last time i see him. because i don’t know who would come but and invite him to the battle ground and he would surely fly there..

One day his wife asked him if he could buy her a hand bag and some groceries from the markets so Zaid (at-tayyar ) went to the Sader bazzar it was the market place in peshawer . As he was buying the items his wife requested he met a group of brothers buying some things they needed and they seemed in a hurry. After greeting them he asked them: why are you brothers in a hurry?

July 17, 2007

Dhu’l Nun al-Misri was asked about love. He responded,

It is to love that which Allah loves,

to hate that which Allah hates,

to perform all good,

to reject everything that busies you from Allah,

and not to fear any blame for the sake of Allah,

while being gentle with believers, stern with disbelievers,

and to follow the Messenger of Allah in matters of religion.”

• ten • phrases • that • lead • to • jannah •

July 16, 2007

Ten different phrases that are short, easy, and light, but will give you what no eye has seen, no hear has heard, and what no mind has imagined:

1 – “Whoever says: ‘Glorified is Allah, the Most Great, and praised is He’ [Subhan Allah al-‘Adhim wa bi-Hamdih] will have a date palm planted for him in Paradise.” [‘Sahih al-Jami” #5531]

2 – “Whoever is stricken with sadness, grief, sickness or hardship and says: ‘Allah is my Lord, without any partners’ [Allahu Rabbi, la sharika lah], then it will be removed from him.” [‘Sahih al-Jami” #6040]

3 – “Whoever ate something, then said: ‘Praise be to Allah who has fed me this food and provided it for me, without any strength or power on my part’ [al-Hamdu lillah aladhi at’amani hadha wa Razaqnih bi ghayr hawlin minni wa la quwwa] is forgiven his past and future sins. And whoever wears a garment and says: ‘Praise be to Allah who has clothed me with this garment and provided it for me without any strength or power on my part’ [al-Hamdu lillah aladhi kasani hadha at-thawb wa Razaqnih bi ghayr hawlin minni wa la quwwa] is forgiven his past and future sins.” [‘Sahih al-Jami” #6086]

4 – “Whoever enters the marketplace and says: ‘There is none worthy of worship except Allah who has no partners, for Him is the Dominion, and for Him is all Praise, He brings life and He causes death, and He is Alive and does not die, in His Hand is all good, and He is able to do all things,’ [La ilaha ill-Allah, Wahdahu la sharika lahu, lahul-Mulk, wa lahul-Hamd, yuhyiyy wa yumit, wa Huwa Hayyun la yamut, bi Yadihil-Khayr wa Huwa ‘ala kulli shay’in Qadir] then Allah will write one million good deeds for him, and will wipe away one million of his bad deeds, and will raise him one million levels and will build a home for him in Paradise.” [‘Sahih al-Jami” #6231]

5 – “Whoever controls his anger when he is able to act upon it, then Allah will call him to come in front of all of the Creation so that he would let him choose from the Hur al-‘Ayn and marry from them whomever he pleases.” [‘Sahih al-Jami” #6518]

6 – “Whoever asks Allah for Paradise three times [Allahumma inni as’aluk al-Jannah], then Paradise will say: “O Allah! Enter him into Paradise!” And whoever seeks protection with Allah from the Fire three times [Allahumma najjini min an-Nar], the Fire will say: “O Allah! Protect him from the Fire!”” [Reported by at-Tirmidhi, and it is authentic]

7 – “Whoever seeks forgiveness for the believing men and the believing women, Allah writes for him – for every believing man and woman – a good deed.” [Reported by at-Tirmidhi, Ibn Majah, and Ahmad, and it is authentic]

8 – ‘Abdullah bin Mas’ud said: “Whoever reads ‘al-Mulk’ (chapter 67 of the Qur’an) every night, Allah will protect him from the torment of the grave. At the time of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), we used to call it al-mani’ah (that which protects). In the Book of Allah, it is a chapter which – whoever recites it every night – has done very well.” [‘Sahih at-Targhib wat-Tarhib’ #1475]

9 – “Whoever asks Allah sincerely for martyrdom [Allahumma inni as’aluk ash-shahadah], Allah will cause him to reach the status of the martyrs even if he dies in his bed.” [‘Sahih al-Bukhari’ #1909]

10 – “No one witnesses that there is none worthy of worship but Allah and that I am Allah’s Messenger – truthfully, from his heart – except that Allah makes the Fire of Hell forbidden to touch him.” [Reported by Muslim, Ahmad, and al-Bayhaqi]

this is a perfect explanation of what just happened in Pakistan… but it was written over 50 years ago. Subhaan Allah

Conflict Between Islam & Imperialism

“Islam and imperialism are by nature fatal enemies of each other. Imperialism is afraid of Islam to such an extent that the mere imagination of Islamic revival makes it restless, sleepless and shiver in its shoes. It never gets worried at the enormous increase of the number of political parties secular in character. But it cannot countenance the emergence of any Islamic party. The establishment of even a small Islamic party torments it like fire. It knows that common political parties seek realization of material and secular objectives and it was not difficult to satisfy them or win them over. But a true Muslim seeks the pleasure of the Almighty Lord and pursues the path of martyrdom in the way of Allah. It is not easy to seduce such a Muslim with worldly offers or to turn him away from the pursuit of his lofty ideal.

Whenever the passion for Jehad, war and martyrdom in Muslim countries re-awakens, the Western powers conspire with ‘Muslim’ rulers and prevail upon them to perpetrate atrocities on the pioneers of Islam and to stop them from marching on the road to Islam and thus prevent them from advancing towards Islam. But the true Muslims refuse to bow or surrender and thereby have to face two-pronged attacks from their own brethren in faith as well as from the enemies of Islam. To meet this challenge, they pray to Allah and seek his blessings for perseverance and courage. This conflict opens the eyes of common, unwary Muslims. They see with their own eyes the real enemy of Islam and its followers. Ultimately their sympathy and active cooperation go to those who fight and die in the way of Allah. ”

Shaykh Abu Muhammad al-Maqdisi, fakk Allaahu asrah
in Haadhihi ‘Aqidatuna — This is Our Aqeedah

And Duaa’ for the rulers and leaders be they Muslims or Kuffaar is from the innovations of Jumu’ah according to us and it is a sign of one having entered into their obedience. We hate it and censure it. The Salaah behind the one who leaves it from Ahlus Sunnah is more beloved to us. We do not declare the Salaah invalid due to it nor do we hold that it should be repeated, unless the Duaa’ is clear in giving aid to the Tawaagheet or their polytheistic Deen, thereby, their ruling would be that of their helpers and soldiers. Assistance by the tongue is the twin half of giving assistance by the spear.

Shaykhul-Islaam Ibn Taymiyyah, may Allah have mercy on him, said:

The punishment for a sin committed by a believer is removed in ten ways:

  1. He repents to Allah (tawbah), so Allah accepts his repentance, for the one who repents from sin is like the one who has no sin.
  2. He seeks forgiveness from Allah (istighfaar), so Allah forgives him.
  3. He does good deeds that erase his sin for good deeds erase bad ones.
  4. His believing brethren pray for him or seek forgiveness for his sins during his life or death.
  5. Or they [ask Allah] to bestow on him as gift from the reward for their deeds, with which Allah benefits him.
  6. His Prophet Muhammad, sallallahu `alayhi wa sallam, intercedes for him.
  7. Allah tests him with trials in this world which expiate his sin.
  8. Allah tests him in al-Barzakh (the intermediate life in the grave, between the death and the Day of Judgment) which expiates his sin.
  9. Allah tests him in the various stages of the Day of Judgment which expiates his sins.
  10. Or the Most Merciful of those who have mercy has mercy on him.

Whoever, then, is missed by these ten cannot blame anyone but himself.
